Privacy Notice

1. Who this notice is from

Enni Thuniga Solutions (OPC) Private Limited decides why and how your personal data is used ("data fiduciary" under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). This notice explains what we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It is written to follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them, as they apply to us.

2. What we collect

ET Compass (free):

• your name, mobile number and email address, and the gender option you pick for the result picture;
• your college, if you tell us;
• your answers, the three interest areas and up to three names you choose, and your results;
• a small session cookie that lets you return to your assessment on the same device.

ET Journey and ET Cards, in addition:

• login ID, college, degree, branch, year of graduation and batch;
• your answers in aptitude rounds, written tasks, group discussion and interview scores, and the audio or video you record for cards or interviews, which mentors review;
• ratings, feedback, your report and your certificate details.
• Payment details are handled by the payment gateway. We receive only the status and reference of a payment.

3. Why we use it

• to run the assessment and show you your result and roles to explore;
• to run your programme: scheduling, evaluation, reports and certificates;
• to send you service messages: verification codes, results, schedules, receipts;
• to look after our service: fix problems, prevent misuse, keep records and audit logs;
• to study how the questions work, using answers with your identity removed, so we can improve them;
• to send updates and offers, only if you tick the separate box for that.

4. Your consent

We use your data on the basis of your consent, given when you tick the box to agree to the Terms of Use and this notice, and for the other purposes the law allows. The updates and offers box is separate and optional. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before, and we may not be able to continue a Service that needs the data.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

• our mentors and evaluators, so they can review your work;
• service providers who work for us under contract: hosting, email delivery, WhatsApp messaging and payment processing;
• the leaderboard, only if you have agreed to appear on it;
• authorities, where the law requires it.

6. Where your data is kept

Our servers are in India. Some providers, such as WhatsApp, may process messages outside India. We use only providers that protect data as the law requires.

7. How long we keep it

• ET Compass results stay available to you for 2 months from the day you finish.
• Name, mobile, email and college of a Compass participant are kept for up to 24 months. After that they are removed, and only anonymous answers remain.
• Records of paid programmes, certificates, and payments are kept for as long as the law and the need to verify certificates or settle disputes require.
• Incomplete attempts follow the same period as completed ones.
• Backups are overwritten on a regular cycle.

8. Keeping it safe

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), role-based access so people see only what they need, hashed passwords, activity logs and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Your rights

• to ask what data we hold and how it is used;
• to have wrong or out-of-date data corrected or completed;
• to have your data erased, unless the law needs us to keep it;
• to withdraw consent;
• to complain to us, and if we do not resolve it, to the Data Protection Board of India;
• to nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or cannot act.

To use any of these rights, write to payanam@ennithuniga.com from the email address or mobile number you registered with, saying what you want. We may ask for a simple check that it is you. We act on a request within 30 days.

10. Children

If you are under 18, we need the verified consent of a parent or guardian before we collect your data, as the Service asks. We do not show targeted advertising to children and we do not track or monitor their behaviour except as needed to run the assessment.

11. Cookies and similar tools

The Career Compass uses one essential cookie to keep your session, and the sign-in pages use an essential session cookie. We do not use advertising cookies. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your device contacts Google when a page opens.

12. Updates and offers

We send these only to people who ticked the separate box. Every message tells you how to stop.

13. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects how we use your data, we will tell you.

14. Grievance officer
